Children always are particular about food. This problem annoys most of the parents from all of world. A gardener from Britain gave his good suggestion to the parents in this Children’s Day. He suggested that to encourage children plant vegetables and fruits by themselves can make them eat voluntarily and positively. This way can solve children’s eating problem to some degree.
A gardener from Britain who has two children aged 9 and 10 respectively are the same as other children. They are particular about food and are not fond of vegetables and fruits. With the help of their mother, they have started to plant vegetables and fruits by themselves. After that, they have fallen in love with eating them and enjoyed the deliciousness of them.
Now, the two children have become the members of the Planting Team which was founded by the British Nation Trust Committee. The team members were all children from Britain and they were encouraged to plant vegetables and fruits by themselves. It was also a pilot project of cultivating healthy dieting. The Committee has distributed seeds and encouraged children to plant from the beginning of 2009. Till now, they have 8.8,000 families participated in the project already.
There are many ways to encourage children plant by themselves, the gardener said. For example, raising a competition and choosing the child who plant the most plants as the winner is one way of encouraging. Furthermore, if there has not enough space in the yard, hoisting garden pot can save space and has the same effect as well.
